Every month a farmers' market takes place in the grounds of St John's to help promote local sustainable shopping.

Asylum seekers' night shelter
For two weeks every year St John's provides overnight shelter in the church building for up to 10 destitute asylum seekers. The church is transformed and around 70 volunteers from the church and the wider community come together to make the guests feel welcome and at home.

Farsley Parents' & Toddlers' Group
Tuesday morning is parents and toddlers time in the church hall with plenty of fun and stimulating things for parents to enjoy with their children.
