Farsley Church Hall

Farsley Church Hall is a large open space, suitable for a range of events including parties, social gatherings, conferences, fundraising events and large meetings.

The room is bright and airy with a high pitched ceiling and large windows with curtains down one side of the room. It has recently been redecorated and is approximately 15 metres long, 7 metres wide and 4 metres high.

We have around 20 large rectangular tables which can seat 8-10 people each. We also have some smaller tables which can seat 4-6 people. A range of chairs are available providing seating for up to 100 people. The room can be set out in both cafe mode with tables and chairs or conference mode with chairs in rows, or a combination of the two with open space.

The hall also has access to a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities, an electric oven, gas hob, fridge and dishwasher. A range of cooking equipment, crockery and cutlery is also available but you are welcome to bring your own kitchenware. There are also toilet facilities and baby changing space next to the entrance porch.

The hall is accessed from the car park at the back of St John’s Church on New Street (Postcode LS28 5DJ). There is also pedestrian access through the graveyard entrance from Old Road. The main entrance to the church hall has several steps but there is a level-access accessible entrance through the side door.

Hiring costs

• £35 per hour for parties and one-off special events (Minimum two hour booking)
• £25 per hour for regular bookings
• £20 per hour for one-off events for charitable organisations
• £18 per hour for regular events for charitable organisations

We also ask for a £50 refundable deposit to cover any damage.

The church hall has many regular bookings but is often available for hire outside of those times. The grid below shows the times the hall is often available for hire but please contact the Parish Office to check precise availability.
