We are delighted to announce that a new curate will be joining us at St John's later this summer. Dr Joanna Leidenhag will be our Assistant Curate working as a new self-supporting minister following her ordination in July.
Joanna will be working for the Parish part-time supporting our vicar Nathanael on a weekend and for some time during the week and says she is excited to work alongside us here in Farsley and Rodley as we explore what plans God has for us.
Joanna's day-job is currently as an academic theologian at the University of Leeds but she will be taking up a new position at the University of Cambridge in the autumn and will be commuting from her home here in Leeds.
She will be ordained at a special service at Bradford Cathedral on 4th July and we will look forward to welcoming her to work among us in Farsley in July.
