Members of St John's Church in Farsley have donated dozens of toys estimated to be worth several hundred pounds to be given to less fortunate families across Leeds.
As we move towards Christmas our Toy Appeal aims to put smiles on the faces of children who might otherwise face a more difficult time.
People in our congregation were asked to bring in toys to donate to a good cause. Some will be passed on to second-hand shops but the many new toys which were given will be sent to St George's Crypt to support its appeal to give more to those who have less.
We pray that the toys will bring joy and extra smiles to those families who receive them and a big thank you to everyone who supported our toy appeal.
