If there's one thing that spring is good for it's having a big clear out of junk and giving things a really good clean and that's what we are getting ready for here at St John's.
Do you ever put things in a cupboard - just in case? Maybe stuff goes in your loft or your cellar instead. Over time it stays there - just in case. Well here at St John's we have plenty of stuff that we've kept over the years - just in case - and it's time we got rid of it!
We are planning The Great St John's Spring Clean and we need your help.
Join us in church on Saturday 10 June from 9am when we will be clearing out the balcony and then we have some cupboards to go through in the afternoon in the church hall as well. As well as willing volunteers to carry heavy items down from upstairs we have plenty of other jobs which aren't quite so strenuous. Bring practical clothes!
There will be lunch provided too!
