Rev Gareth Howles joined St John's Church in Farsley as Priest in Charge in December 2020.
Gareth was previously the Assistant Curate at Morton and Riddlesden, but he knows our area, having spent nine years as the Children and Youth Minister at Pudsey Parish Church.
He loves all sport, especially playing and watching football, (but he will equally enjoy watching tiddlywinks or fishing) going to the pub with his friends to win the quiz or beat them at pool, and having people round for meals so he can try out new recipes. He also enjoys getting away in the caravan with his wife Naomi and their five children, the oldest being 16 and the youngest a few months old.
